Studied Design in Hildesheim and Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich — master student of Prof. K. F. Dahmen. His large-scale, boldly coloured canvases are populated by the figures of contemporary life: ordinary people caught in extraordinary contradictions. With sharp wit and unflinching honesty, Brandt dissects power, vanity and social performance — turning the everyday into quiet provocation. A singular voice at the intersection of social critique and painterly pleasure.

Visual artist and writer based between Landsberg am Lech and Berlin. Her work — spanning painting, drawing and illustration — is driven by acute social observation, political consciousness and lyrical precision. Series such as Funkenflüge, Corona Dialoge and Careful with Words mark an artist who takes a clear position with every medium: unflinching, formally rigorous, and always deeply human.

Klaus Halfar studied Graphic Design at the College of Fine Arts in Brunswick under Prof. Paul König, graduating in 1972. After years working as a graphic designer in Bremen, he devoted himself entirely to painting from 1979 onward. A member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Berlin, he lived and worked in Berlin-Neukölln until his passing on 28 June 2022.
His canvases construct surreal yet utterly plausible worlds — figures suspended in situations that expose the fault lines of society: poverty beside privilege, institutional power, the long shadow of National Socialism. Rendered with meticulous precision, his figurative painting carries the quiet menace of Edward Hopper: atmospheric, unflinching, and deeply committed to letting the image do the talking.
Exhibited in Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover, Dangast, Wolfshagen and Celle — including a 2021 group exhibition at the Bomann Museum Celle alongside Horst Janssen and Robert Gernhardt.
